I just got my Sup and it had a blown speaker on the passenger side. I went ahead and got new speakers all around.

First thing we did is install the head unit out of my old car into the Sup... we plugged it in and everything worked fine

Next step was to install the new 6 1/2" speakers for the rear. When we got those in and tested them out, they were distorted to shit! The worst part is, when we were switching threw radio stations, some stations sounded perfectly fine (hip hop stations) but other stations and CD's sounded like shit! We even tried a CD out of the 6 disc changer and that sounded like shit too, both CD's were rock CD's.

The headunit is Alpine CDA-9833. If anyone knows whats wrong with the speakers of if its just a settings issue PLEASE chime in! Thanks!!!!!!

Do you have access to a multi meter?

You may need to bypass the stock amp. I had that problem in a few cars. It distorted the signal from the aftermarket deck.
