i got my driveshaft in today and i went to put it in the tranny and its not going in. i know it is a R-154 driveshaft because it is shorter than my W-58 driveshaft. and i know its an R-154 tranny. there are no serious nicks or gashes where you put the driveshaft and the tranny together. just got a couple questions. are there year seperations like the pre 89 and the 89+ for the driveshaft?? im lost on this, thanks in advance for your help.

Mine was kinda tough to get in but you just have to move it around different ways till it pops it. Try putting grease around the spline too.

Plus some of the aluminum shafts are reportedly shorter than the stocker but still fit alright. Not sure if that is relavent or not though.
