Hi ;)

Here I want to tell the story of my project.

3 years ago, before i buy my altezza RS200. I wanted to buy a Lexus IS300, I've always liked that box. But even the price was very expensive. One day, my best friend invited me to Drag Mobil 1 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, without thinking twice, accept andi went to Drag Mobil 1. Then I found a friend of mine from college who I was.

He told me that it will move to live in USA, and He decided to sell
the altezza. When I saw the altezza rs200 and engines 3SGE RS200 and , tranny automatic, so I love :loveit: altezza RS200 and i buy it once. Remember altezza that had 45,000 km as new and full.

After 2 months, I met dima soto (Single turbo 2jz altezza) and Junito sosa (Mechanical, Workshop M & STECH), when I saw the project 2jz swap of dima soto. it's awesome, the project 2jz swap is perfect without problem. (I think he was 2jz swap + altezza first in Dominican Republic).:rockon:

So we started talking about project and how they did, etc ...

This moment I began to study and investigate about 2jz swap through than my.is, supraforums,altezzaclub Australia, where he had
much information that the person has done 2jz swap, (build and project 2jz swap).

Then after 2 years later,I met Harold Tejada , also he did another 2jz swap + tranny r154. I like it.

Began to prepare a budget for 2jzgte swap to do to my altezza.

The idea of ??my project I wanted do a 2jz swap complete withe all new parts and keep my2jz motor that is durable and without problem. (Even I trust a 2jz, which the engines is strong )

Junito, Dima, and Harold gave me advice and recommendation to have
a idea of ??my project.

In M&S Tech, did more #14 altezza and is300 + 2jz swap, now me touch the #15 of altezza + 2jz swap.

My ex-motor 3SGE, only goes up to 67.000 km. I miss my 3SGE. The engine is very good and fun.




Note: i'm sorry, that some of the photos is poor and dark.


So I started to buy parts that will last as approximately 1 year.

Buy R154 tranny of Dima Soto, Excellent Condition, No need adaptation




My Favorite Gauges Defi-link !!!!, are difficult to obtain, because it is discontinued, and last 8 months to buy it. but lack defi bf of oil pressure to complete.




Junito found my new engines 2jzgte, in the Discovery Parts (Shop parts and engines import from japan). JDM Aristo comes from. Excellent condition, Like Dima and harold. Thanks you Junito and Fernando

Readyyyyy!!!!





Dima, Junito and I tried test my car, we realized that my engine is perfect, run as like new engines 2jzgte without problem. Honestly I'm happy, and I'm enjoying a lot with my 2jzgte, and again many thanks to Junito and dima for having helped me to work my 2jzgte swap.


I think in 2 weeks to i will try dyno results and i will run on Drag
1 / 4 miles in mobil 1.

Performance:

i'm sorry for my bad English language. So I'm trying to learn well :p

It isn't IS300.
Is a Altezza.

The first-generation Altezza (codename SXE10) was launched in Japan in October 1998, while the Lexus IS 200 (GXE10) made its debut in Europe in 1999 and in North America as the IS 300 (JCE10) in 2000.

Altezza + 2jz vs Subaru Impreza STI stock

Best time: 14.15 1/4miles


In the end, he had to brake because the differential was vibrating a lot, almost going to break.
The differential is Altezza stock , model A02B with 4.1 ratio
I decided the next months, I will try to get a used differential of supra auto with TRD to avoid breaking differential.
