I'd like to raise the boost but don't want to go so much that my engine gets ragged on. Current mods are just downpipe/exhaust.

Is the VSV bypass mod reasonably safe? Am I better off going with a Profec B? I don't need anything too sophisticated.

You'd be better off with a bleeder-t unless you consistently run 100 octane or a mix of it and regular 91-94 pump gas.

The VSV bypass mod can easily reach 20+ psi which isn't necesarily a good thing for your turbos or engine if you're not running the proper octane.
