The car is setup for flexfuel and will primarily run on pump e85. But I plan on having a separate kill/race map with an ethanol based race gas.

Does anyone have direct dyno comparisons between pump e85 and any ethanol based race gas w/no MTBEs? I ultimately would like to crack 1000 on a dynojet with a canned fuel.

I understand all the inherit benefits of the canned ethanol based fuels over pump, but I can't find any hard data-backed info on expected power gains.

My tuner will be [email protected]/PHR.

Good luck. I haven't been able to find anything other than perhaps a 3-4% increase across the board and for a 1000whp car, that isn't much considering the cost of that canned fuel.

Yeh that isn't much. I think the greatest advantage of the ethanol race fuels is their ability to be stored for long periods of time. Also I've been told they aren't as hydrophillic as pump e85, so they shouldn't put water through the fuel system.
