Hows it going guys,

Well, the Supra project is finally nearing completion. Last week the new wheels (19" ssr gt3's w/satin finish) arrived, and today the new Whifbitz front lip was installed. Also about a month or two ago Sean ("blkturbo!" on the forum) painted the calipers and sparkplug cover (thanks Sean). I am really pleased with how everything came out. Also keep in mind that the suspension has not been put on yet (about a week away) so when completed the car will obviously appear slightly lower, gotta be careful with the fiberglass lip though!

Lastly, thanks to everyone on the forums, and there are lot of you, who helped me out along the way by answering all the questions I had on the different pieces that i was considering. Most everyone I have met on this forum is very knowledgeable when it comes to the supra and are more then willing to share that knowledge.

and now the pics ...........

Wow, your car looks incredible. Definately one of my favorites on the forums. Please dont ruin it with a kit or a wing, keep her clean!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I cant tell you how many hours went into the decisions on which parts to get.

"Fyrarms" I dont know if it was you, but i think it was, that was interested in twinturbozs, ssr's. If it was you "twinturbozs know his stuff when it comes to these wheels he walked me through which setup to buy for my needs, and Im happy with the final sizes and offsets.

"imaginethat": The car is complete as far as the exterior goes, nothing else in the forseable future.

"PRock": wow, great call on the car in the garage. thats my brothers car, it is a SMZ.

"Dragracingsupra": its car like yours that convinced me to try the 19" route

Yeah, it was me. However, I have P265/30R19 front tires. The SSR GT3 doesn't come in a 9" or 9.5" size with proper offsets to fit my tire. :(

CCW SP500's are in my very near future. ;)

Fyrarms: yeah with the gt3's your only option would be the 19x9's with the 31 offset if you were to use 265's, unfortuanately i dont know that those can still be gotten. The ccw's are gong to look awesome though

VNT: thanks for the nice words, I had 18" chrome momo sports. I personally liked the wheels, not as much as the ssr's, but I liked them. Also I ve seen pics of your car and engine (you definately have no need to be jealous)

Tatanko: Nice call on the mercedes

iluvpsi: one day hopefully there will be a supra museum, I would definately travel to see it

Mr2: I agree about the lip, it is nice because of its subtlety, not to say that other lips dont share that same quality

well you have to remember that my car no longer has a body kit.

Got tired of the look, so now all I have is a RMM CF Wing, and soon i'll have a MD CF GT Front Lip and Probably the GT Rear Lip.

I'm still jealous!!!!

vnt,
that setup is going to look amazing. The silver and the carbon fiber will look great together. Im going to try and get out to some of the local meets this year, so hopefully ill be able to see it in person. Ive had my supra for about 5 years now, but most of the mods have occurred in the last year or so (damn this forum!). This year I hope to see some of the great looking supras that I see on here, in person
