The Slow And The Curious
I have a JDM 2JZ that I've had sitting in the shop for about a year now and I just go around to messing with it about a month ago. I've torn the engine down just to check everything out and make sure everything looks good. The cylinders and all the bearings still look good. Now I know that the rods,mains,and the head bolts are all torque to yield.My question is how many of you big HP guy's have reused these bolts after taking them loose before,and if they must be replaced do you recomend just using stock or aftermarket hardware for a 700-800 hp engine.
