I have a question about the difference between the two. I seached previous thread and there seems to be mixed feelings about the cast manifold, it just left me more confused. What are the big differences besides the price? Also what are the horsepower limitations of a cast manifold, if any? Once again, thanks in advance for all the help.

Cast manifold or Log manifold is not equal length. The tubes to each cylinder just come straight out as a Stainless is equal length, meaning each tube is the same length :)
Also, cast iron is HEAVY! They also tend to crack sometimes and are not easy to weld if even possible.

Not sure about the limitations, I don't believe many people have tried going too far on them. I believe Henri had one with a SP63? Stainless is more efficient

I know Henri was using an SP63 with it but he was just pushing bout 550 RWHP I believe. I know the SP63s are capable of outputing well over 600 RWHP, will the manifold crack under such pressure?

Thanks,

Victor
