I have a couple of questions about boost leaks. If my boost gauge is reading consistently 1.15-1.2 bar, is it possible I still have a boost leak? I have heard that you can still make that kinda of boost, but the turbo is spinning faster to make that boost, hence hotter intake charge temperature adn loss of power. I thought turbos spun the same speed under full thrust and it was the waste gates that controlled the boost. I have a Profec B to control boost and am running TTC with EGR block off plates. I have run my car full throttle at 1.2 bar well into 5th gear. I haven't hooked up my EGT gauge yet so I don't know what temps I hit during those runs. Do I have anything to worry about??
