HOW exactly does this work, I am new to supra, I just love them.
I heard that you can punch couple of buttons then it enables you to manually shift.
is the shifter, where is the shifter? lol is it the drive nob
I just heard there is no clutch, meaning there is no 3rd pedal right?
EXPLAIN to me how exactly this works, I really want a 5spd manual, but right now best deal I found is on a AUTO. do you think this manual mode will suffice?
THANKS
I just asked a question, I have never driven a manual either.
its just cause there is this NA for sale. that has auto with the manual mode its in perfect condition, trying to figure out if I should get it or not.

It's not a TipTronic (Spelling?) or anything like that.
More or less, you can tell it what gear to stay in.
There is no clutch, so there is no third pedal, and it's NOTHING like a Manual. Rarely used to shift gears, unless you want to drop it, or keep it in low gears for the snow (Like when car's have a "2" or "Low" option).
So give me the ad, I am an auto buff. I don't care for manual, I'll take ANY Supra I can afford.
yea... if you like shifting yourself..dont get it . go 5 sp. the manu mode WILL shift about 2 tenths faster in the quarter mile compared to pure auto...but slower than the manual supra by a considerable margin... .3-.5 seconds..>?
it is just selecting gears...not tiptronic..hope that helps
