tried searching for a week now and cant get an answer...

first... when going single, do i get rid of the vsv ontop the intake and large metal pipe behind the motor?.. if so, what resistor goes into the leftover plug?..

second... what is the ideal wideband reading for a/f ratio?..

third... what is the average high exhaust temp (safe max)?..

11.5 is generally what you'd like to aim for at WOT. Anything between 14.0 and 15.0 on a cruise on the highway is accepatable. At idle, it should be getting around 14.5-14.7ish.

as for resistance.... just use an ohm meter on any VSV you replace and go to radio shack and get something within 10% of the value to prevent CEL from going on. The VSV is a solenoid valve, so you are going to want some low resistance, high wattage resistor if I am thinking right.

the FSM also has the values that these should read for testing IIRC.
