Hello,

I am installing my VPC and 2 HKS SSQ BOVs and installed the BOVs yesterday. I installed them correctly with the tapered edge of the C Clip pointing up. I noticed that one of the BOVs is very difficult to rotate, meaning it takes a lot of force, while the other isn't quite as difficult to rotate. Is this normal? Do you think it will leak?

Please advise....it has been a long time since I installed a BOV.

I put a little gasket maker to where my HKS attaches to the flange. You will notice if it leaks though it will be a boost leak and you will have erratic idle and maybe stall. Hope I anwserer your question.

Yes,

I am on the VPC Set up so hopefully I'll be able to notice the vacuum leak or boost leak if I have one. Most people say I'll be ok and that the metal on the flange may have expanded from the heat of it being welded on. The other flange has been on the intercooler pipe for a lot longer.
