My car has been in the shop for over a month getting fixed from a wreck, and they fouled my plugs. I have ordered the NGK 3330's but they put the stock Denso platnum plugs in for now. Why do we use 1 heat range colder? I cant remember. They were trying to tell me that I should go hotter and I cant remember why we use the colder plug?

I did a search and it looks like the colder plugs are to guard against missing at high rpm's
