First off, I searched, Will a JDM Wire harness for the 7MGTE fit into a USDM MKIII? I've heard that the JDM ones are shorter or something because they are RHD, Is this true?

^ They're different. The JDM harness goes straight in thru the firewall near where our brake booster is where as the USDM runs along the firewall and enters in on "our pass. side".

Dim Dip is like daytime running lights, sort of. The low beams are run at 10-20% of their normal power rating. It was a UK thing on cars made after April, 1987 IIRC, I think they stopped using them now.

WTF??

^ ONLY IF YOU LENGTHEN IT BETWEEN THE BACK OF THE ENGINE AND WHERE IT ENTERS THE FIREWALL ON THE PASS. SIDE.

JDM harness = too short for USDM
USDM harness= too long for JDM

Maybe the route through the speedo trick will work too but the 7M is a much simpler harness then the 1jz to extend anyways.
