How is the cooling system usually plumbed on a 2jzgte racecar? My original plan was to run the NA water pipe and plug the hole on the block(where the stock oil cooler is plumbed in) and loop the back of the head and the end of the water pipe together(jump out the heater core connections). Since I don't have a heater core though, is it possible to blockoff the back of the water pump where the pipe bolts to as well as the back of the head? Would this cause any cooling system issues?

I run the stock NA pipe routed up to the back/top of the head (bypassing the heater core as you said). I run an NA block so I don't have the oil cooler port you mention. This setup works good on my car.

Lol, someone ban this guy.

I ended up just using the NA pipe. Don't want to find out the hard way. I welded the small nipple closed and reclocked the L at the end of the pipe to make a nice easy path for the coolant hose to connect to the back of the head. I also removed a 1/4" section, so there was no contact between the adapter plate and pipe.

The pipe would normally point out towards the fender usually getting in the way of a downpipe, not up like the way I have it clocked. It also has the small nipple removed and has been shortened as to not interfere with the transmission adapter plate. I wanted to get the new ATI supercase glide with the SFI bellhousiung that does not need an adapter plate, but it is still in prototyping and I could not wait any longer.
