i raced with z28 on friday it was nose to nose from 80mph to 140 mph i'm all stock on 1jz-gte motor just have 3" exhaust and cold air intake thats all.the z28 was like 1998 style with exhaust too. not bad for stock 1jz

98+ the z28 and SS's both (v8 models) had LS1's. Prior to that from 94-97 they had LT1's.

So... that was a pretty good race. Any LS1 powered car is quick, with bolt-ons they get alot quicker.

Just dynoed a 98 vette last friday with intake, headers and 3 -> 2.5 inch mufflerless exhaust and a tune with an auto tranny and it put out 320 to the wheels. Mind you the powerband for those cars is much more broad than for a supra, so they really scoot.

They're more like 280rwhp stock through a 6 speed transmission.

i'm all stock just exhaust and intake i dont know the rear diff gearing on this car its 1989 used to be 7m-gte now its 1jz-gte. any body knows the rear diff gearing on 1989 7m-gte supras?
