Im about to put my stall converter in. I read, while searching through threads on the subject, that you need new bolts before installing.

Is this right? Can I not re-use the same bolts? They look good to me. If not, do I need some special bolts, or something?

You can probably get by with cleaning them and reapplying threadlocker.

Is this a PI converter? It should come with special bolts and I don't recall them being TTY.

I bought a used trans, and converter, ....so I dont have the bolts. I was just going to reuse the ones from the stock converter.

But is it a stock converter?? If it's a PI, you'll need bolts with a shorter head....

Because the converter is a bit thicker than stock. Ring up PI. They're pretty good about sending out bolts quickly. They even sent mine for free....
