Guys,

I searched and found various types of pitman arm pullers needed for the job...Which one do you guys use that is required, easy and proper. And where should i buy it from autozone, pepboys. I notice there are varying sizes.

Please post a pic or link to the one needed for our cars.

Will be working on my 97 6spd TT.

Thanks.

Use a big hammer and hammer on the sides of the joints. Usually a ball joint splittler will bust the grease seals.

The pitmn arm puller won't hurt the greese seals, you just don't want to use the ball joint fork things.

I just got the arm puller from autozone, the one that they loan out, worked great.
