I'm sure I'm not the only one that have laughed at the statements people say to you about your car or hear across the way of what people are mumbling. I'm curious what others have heard.
A few of my laughs:
"Is that a kit Supra?" - coming from a boy that was around 14, I give him props for knowing it's a Supra though.
Reving my motor (2jzge) for the little kids at the skate park, kid says "I heard the turbo spool!" Another kid says, "it's not turboed, there's no front mount." I said, not all turboed cars have front mounts, they have side mounts. The other kid looks at me, opens his mouth as if to say something then stomps off in humiliation.
"Is that a Prelude?" No it's a Supra "No it's not" Yup your right, it's a Toyota Prelude. (standing right next to the rear Toyota symbol)
"Dude look at that Celica!" (also Prelude, Accord, Eclipse)
"Is that a V8?"
"It's not turboed cause it doesnt have a front mount, and the door handles and side mirrors are different, the turbo models are different."
"Hey it's a Supra!" (as I drive by) "Dude it's a girl"
