I have a CT driver's license but I want to register a car in NY. Can I do that?

I have a place in NY as well as in CT so receiving mail is no problem, but like to keep the CT driver's license...

I'm having a terrible time passing inspection failed 4 times in connecticut... I've tried the 5 bottles of octane booster and still have stock cats stuff.... I guess having no EGR can do that...... (I didn't fail the visual I failed the emissions portion)

what is the ideal A/F ratio for cleanest emissions anyways?

any help would be awesome

Vssc400,

The VIP program is a new way to check for emissions by reading any codes thrown by the OBDII ECU. This only applies to 96 and newer cars. Luckily, you have a 92 so this shouldn't affect you too much.

i didn't think that was new...... in CT you also don't dyno OBDII vehicles. they just plug it into the computer. As far as I know this have been going on since like 01 and it's not new
