Guys,

I know there is a sticky with shops in California area, but I just wanted to see if someone can have a personal recommendation for a shop that is reliable and have a good knowledge about Supras, Turbo installs and tuning. I'm looking to get single turbo installed into my car and so far all of the local places that I knew didn't work out. Any recommendation is appreciated.

+1 kou went to aem school and does a lot of tuning for the supra guys in fresno. Very kool guy.

I went with Full Function, Sean is the only AEM, HKS and Greddy authorized tuner in Northern Cali. Before I went on the dyno he had finished up a landspeed FD for the Texas Mile. It put down 900whp on a built LS7 with I think a PTE 68mm HTA turbo. Plus there's a lot of 600+whp evos and porsches out front so it made me feel better unlike Tech3 in San Jose which was a bunch of beater looking HB civics with swaps lol

Getting a tune was how I got my foot in the door, half the employees there were a customers at one point. Even the new owner. But I'm not there anymore anyway but still on good terms. Not to say KBR or Blacktraxx is bad but from the places I got my cars tuned at (fullfunction, blacktraxx, tech3) fullfunction was the best. Haven't been to Vishnu but then again I don't own anything Shiv will touch, or 034motorsports. OP asked a question, jut answering to the best of my knowledge.

Nice guys, but flakey in my experience. Good lookin Zs over there though.

Personally, I use Henry for that kind of work in Sacramento.
