I was having bad idle problems, car would idle below 1k rpm's and a check engine light would come on. Went to my local Toyota dealership and had them run a diagnostic test/ came up with a bad MAF sensor. I bought the LEXUS AFM from Suprastore and after having it on, my car is still idling rough. Is it the SENSOR that I need to replace or what? If so, this part will cost me quite a bit of money right? Any shortcuts or new ideas for me? Thankx Fellas.

yes the sensor is what is bad not the physical housing itself.

No one sells just the sensor, you'll have to buy the entire AFM and trans-plant it onto your Lex tube.

so how much does one of those usually cost?
or can I pick up one off of a used mk3, does it matter what year mk3 it is?
