Hey..

Is it possible to replace the rear oil seal without dismantling the output shaft assembly? I see the TSRM addresses oil seal replacement as the last step in a tear down/reassembly.

Wait.. just saw they specify a SST "with output shaft installed", so has anyone done this job? I imagine I just need to pull the driveline out to do it. :)
Thanks!
Matt

its pretty easy. pull the driveshaft, then use a screwdriver to pry off the round black seal cover off the back of the trans. Pop the seal out with the screwdriver, then use a big socket to tap a new one in.

ohh btw, make sure you drain it first!
