Hi guys,

I did a search on this topic, but didnt really find what I was looking for...

My stock amp is right now sitting under my seat disconnected. I want to pull that out and put an Alpine MRP-M350 mono sub amp in its place to drive 2 JL Audio 6w0's. I know that when I installed the Alpine head unit, I just plugged into a different harness in order to bypass the stock amp.

Obviously, the first thing to do would be to pull the seat and disconnect everything from the stock amp. However, I need to know if there are any other connections that need to be made down by where the amp is to retain functionality of the speakers. Do I have to cut or splice any wires or anything?

As far as the subs I know what I am doing (I think).....from sub: power to battery, ground to a ground, remote wire to the back of the HU.....RCA cables to back of HU, speaker wire to subs.....

Also, does anyone know for sure if the MRP M350 will fit where the stock amp is now? Anyone have dimensions of the stock amp?
