alright, i need to get a full widebody done with a RSP paint job, and i'm looking for a good body shop that does reputable work that wont charge out the ass. the body shop ive been planning on has been giving me the run-around since december, and im sick of waiting for them. does anyone know of good shops that'l be able to install a widebody correcty?

wow, thats more than the normal price the shop i was going to take it too charges, ive been taking my car there for years so they give me discounted rates, but i just cant wait for them any longer, they estimated at least 2 weeks but ive been waiting since december so knowing them 2 weeks will turn into 2 months. but anyways the first time they painted my car they charged 6,200. i really don't know what to do, not sue if getting it done earlier is worth the extra money, but its becoming a real inconviencience. ive been pulled over twice by dick head cops saying my car isnt safe how it is, almost got written a ticket for no turn signals96GreenTT said:

Xaero, what do you mean by "safe?'' My car has quite a few mods that may not be considered safe by cops.
hay whats up man this AL with the custom wide body from tucson. when ever i build a wide body kit or install one i take the car to photo finish or formula one to do the finish paint work. both shops 99 percent of the time turn down any fiber glass work because of the time and work involved, and if they dont turn it down, they call me to come down and do the fiberglass work. and they do the final majic with paint. formula one has one of the sickest shops you will ever see. its there high end shop its called HIGH SPEED. i hang out there from time to time. im supPose to run my own section out of there once bussiness pics up. ill be doing custom fiberglass work and custom stereo installation .nothing like having one of the best custom paint shops EVER all on the same property. it doesnt get no better than that. there paint jobs are off the chain. we are talking Chip Foose quality. HOT ROD PAINTERS. they are the best painters on the planet .thats the type of quality i like on any cars that i do. its just expensive but boy is it worth it . give me a call about your wide body installation. maybe you can come down to tucson i will take you on a tour of HIGH SPEED. by far the baddest paint shop in az. 520-312-6775. call anytime. thanks man AL .Xaero said:
the going rate to install a full widebody kit plus molding and everything else involved plus a finished show quality paint job usually starts at around 10 grand and goes up from there. the finished paint alone is going to be minimum $6500 to $7000 and goes up from there. we are talking show, magazine quality. 10 grand total is my price. the shops will charge you more total, by far. the shops will charge total 15000 and up complete and they will have your car for ten years .i work night and day untill its done. i dont believe in 9 to 5.GET HER DONE. thanks AL . don't worry, ive known the guys down at this shop for years. the main body guys are brothers and they own it, they do AMAZING work, one of them recently was touring with work hes done, and then one of their other lead body specialists quit, so they were swamped with work, right now theyre working on a widebody 350z and doing something to a skyline, those are the only cars ahead of me but they said 2 weeks, im going to try to negotiate to get it in now, i dont see why 1 of their normal body guys cant begin stripping the car, im just really frustrated with waiting this long, and anxious to get the car up again. if it does go to this place, the car won't sit. they focus on a few cars at a time to get the job done. its just real old with them giving me the run-around for so long, they could have just told me they were swamped with work but they didntFarhad said:
