i have an 85 supra, stock everything. my dad got it brand new back in 85 and since then it's been to hell (not quite came back). my dad estimates that it would cost over $5k to restore. on the other hand i have a '92 mr2 turbo that needs a new engine. if i decide to junk the supra i will definantly buy another one in the future.

hell on body, interior is clean except crack on the dash(sob). engine is strong, just needs a new clutch. my dad said it'll take the hydrolic pullers to straighten the chassis and lotsa new body parts.

:agreed: You can get a straight body for very little money. If you need to swap some interior over, its not a big deal, and of course the engine if need be

Same problem on my 83... Except I am unsure of frame damage yet.... But the motor is going down the tube.. Rod knock. :( I heard it once, so I am unsure, but all the seals dried out so.... It does not hold oil. I am thinking of doing a 2jz MKII with it when I get the nose of her fixed.
