I know it seems like a dumb question but Is it okay if I do this? Someone told me that it was bad for the tranny and diff if I we were to use the na 16inch rims. Please inform me on this cuz if it's okay to use the 16inchers, i'm gonna put some DR's on them! Thanx for your time.

LOL, maybe with an AWD car. If you drive around with a 16" wheel on one side and a 17" on the other it may be wear the diff, but other than that nothing else.

You'll be fine. I believe the only thing that will hold you back from using the NA 16" rims is if you had TT brakes. The calipers might not clear. That of course is irrelevant to your question. :)

I had to grind my TT calipers, and lightly dress the ribs inside the NA rim to fit. When you're done though, you have a 9" rim, way better for the strip for stability and hooking than an FD 16x8 rim.
