Is it possible to road course a single supra with a th400? I hear horrid stories on heat being developed with the stall converters on them. Say you have a 4500rpm stall converter. As long as you keep your rpm's up above 4500rpm would there be significant decreases in transmission temperatures?

Why keep a high stall then? If a regular automatic with a 1500 stall doesn't overheat to the point of failure maybe a compromise is more neccessary. 2500 or 3000 stall? w/ tranny cooler of course.

They make converter's loose and tight right? Neil Chance makes very good custom converters, maybe you can call them up and ask. They would know if anyone knew.

These converters can actually change stalls.
