if you cant find the cap honestly and sorry to tell you but your screwed. The cap matches the rod and the rod and cap assembly matches the crank. Based on the cap and crank youll know what bearing size to buy. There are 5 different rod bearing sizes to buy so do the research better yet read the TSRM very well so you understand this. I got rod knock from not doing this
Get another cap and have it honed with the rod. Then it'll be fine.
The goal is to get them to a perfect circle.. nothing more. You shoudl be measuring the journals and bores to determine b earing size, not going by what toyota stamped into the block and rod. Just an FYI.
