RPM hesitation

The problem I was having was that my car was hesitating in the higher RPM's. So, the first thing I wanted to do was the easiest thing...replace my spark plugs. Well, I knew of a small oil leak but was unsure of where it was at. Well the very last spark plug, closest to the windshield, had some oil around it. As a matter of fact, it had a lot of oil around it. So, what I'm gonna do now is replace my cams, cam gears, and the gasket. Now that I have replaced my spark plugs and cleaned up that oil, there is no hesitation. So, if you are having hesitation problems and haven't replaced your plugs, DO IT. It may be something as simple as that.

Oil around the plugs, especially the back cylinders usually means the valve cover bolts need to be torqued. I don't remember the value, its pretty low.
When I was replacing the HG on my dad's 7m-ge cressida the last (closest to the window) plus was covered in oil, and it was due to the fact that the valve cover was very lose.
