I recently bought a new filter and cleaned it with k&ns filter recharger kit and i put it on and the car ran fine, today i checked the MAF and it had oil on it from the filter so i used MAF cleaner and cleaned it up reinstalled. now car runs like shit. you give it gas it either dies or revs up and then you let go of the gas and it dies. ONLY CODE I HAVE IS CODE 51. and ive had this code for about 6 months now

Mine did the same thing when I cleaned my MAF. Go for a good drive or make sure it's dry before you put it back in.
I didnt have compressed air to dry mine so I just went for a good drive. Cleared up after about 5 minutes.

If you read the back of most of those cleaners they say do not use on Supra lol.

if the cel is on, it could be something as simple as a loose terminal in the maf connector. use a small pick and bend then back up if thats the case.

You're not supposed to use oiled air filters on cars that have MAFs. Hence why AEM manufactures a Dry Flow filter.

Well my MAF decided to fix its self over night, runs like before now..

well the maf cleaner stuff drys quick like i sprayed it on and in couple seconds it looked dry. but i guess not
