I have a problem, rust. Very little of it but still I have rust. I was wondering what would be the best way to remove rust from the wheel wells and what products would be best to use. I am going to repaint the car and I want to do the bodywork myself. So anyhelp would be great.

best thing to do is cut the rusted parts out and weld new plates in to replace.
If its like surface rust you can try and grind it down good and put a preventative on it and prime it and see how that goes.
Rust is hard to just get rid of. That shit spreads like you cant believe. Try and catch it at the early stages

Yes you did.
I also tried to grind rust down on my 240sx and then primered over it and still came back. I then cut out and riveted a new sheetmetal piece in and bondoed it up and primed it again and still came back.
