When i turn key on, the safc2 will only show 1 screen. a bunch of random switching numbers that doesn't make sence. when i switch pages it just goes blurry, like a frozen old school NES game. Is it broken? can it be repaired?
there should be solder points around the screen to the main board.....I am generalizing here, this may be made different than the things I am used to. Take a pic of it and post it up.....I will go from there.
Well in the event that you can't fix it, the good news is that they are dirt cheap! You can sometimes find used ones for less than $100. Hell, I even ran a VAFC (vtec version) on my Supra and it worked perfect :bigthumb:
If you decide to call it done, may I have it? I've been eyeing mine to take apart so that I can play with the VFD, but if yours is kaput I can play with its screen instead.
