Hi everyone,

This is probably going to be a long thread so sorry in advance. First off my name is Paul and this is my first supra I bought back in 09/12/07. The car was purchased from Mcgrath Lexus from a guy that worked there named Mark. At the time i was 18 (I know now i was to young when I bought it) not knowing when i bought the car it was in a accident. The car had 4 owners now before me with 112k Miles on it. The car was a 94 TT(single already) 6 speed targa Ren Red and from the outside it was in pretty good shape. End up picking the car up for 22k which i thought wasn’t bad at the time..

Over the past few years I really started learning about the car and enjoying it when i get the chance! Here in Michigan that that means only about 6 months a year. Some of the typical problems started showing like Clutch, Tires(car was never aligned properly) Valve stem seals among other things. Most of which I took care of just so i could keep enjoying the car and driving it.

This is my current progress with the tear down. I’m still not totally sure what my final plans are with the engine (Hopefully someone can help decided) but I’m just looking for a nice 700HP max streetcar that i'll just be able to enjoy and not worry about or have any problems with(Hopefully).

I’v been talking with Stefan (exvelocity) on restoring tips. He is VERY nice and VERY helpful when it comes to Supras.

As for the engine i plan on taking it to the guys at SP (Only way to go imo) to let them work the magic they do. As I've been talking with Reid through email on figuring out what will be best for me but hes a very busy guy and the emails can take awhile for him to get to.
Like i said im looking to run around 700HP on E85 with ProEFI and SP Torq monster kit..
Anyway onto the photos of the tear down.. Going to be lots of pic’s sorry but i'm trying to document stuff to.

As you can see the bumper has been replaced from the accident

Air blower did this..

Picked up a lip i started trimming

Looking good so far, love these kind of detailed builds.

What cleaning products did you use on the glove box lid? I need to do mine as well to match my new dash.
