My rear main oil seal is leaking (again). I noticed that the crankshaft has tiny scars in it (likely created by the screwdriver I used to pry out the oil seal last year.

Is there any way to repair this right? Not looking for any [email protected] solutions.

Thanks,
Alex

Ok, just wanted to update this thread in case another member runs into the same problem as I did.

The oil leak from my rear main seal was due to a scored crank (caused by me). Fortunately, I was able to find a crankshaft repair sleeve from a company called Microsleeve. $5 for the sleeve, $18 for the tool to install it (which I also conveniently used to install the new oil seal, later).

there is no other way to repair as toyota put a coating (forgot if it was nitride based) on the cranks.
