My stock MKIV Auto Shifter is pretty scratched up. I was wondering if you guys have done anything to fix the scratched up leather short of replacing the whole shifter assembly. Is it possible to replace only the leather on the shifter?

would that be a custom job, or would you be able to get the leather part directly from the dealer?

Thanks guys for all the recommendations. I just purchased a new stock knob from Curt at Elmhurst Toyota: $38.70 shipped...can't beat that price! Know the trick will be how to install that sucker...anyone have tips or experiences with this?
