What does the normal area of the crank look like where the front main seal rests against the crank? I was just looking at my crank as I was buttoning up the bottom to notice a grove area on the crank where the FMS would sit...is this normal?? Can anyone else with a crank out of a 2JZ post a picture of this area??

as you can see in this pic, the area highlighted...you can see it kinda in this pic:

The circled area is where the FMS sits, the grove is typically caused by oil residue, grove should not be one that is machined in.

ok just making sure that some sort of small amount of wear is normal....its not machined.
