Well, now you know! and btw, I go commando.

As for emailing Jake:

*This is a public service announcement*

I have some breaking news to share with you guys but I will wait until I have pictures to go along with the news. My lips are sealed as to the details, but the news hits either by the end of December or the beginning of January.

Following the announcement, there will be an open challenge to drag race any Supra in the world. (literally)
Not trying to start a flame war but this guy's carried on a congratulation thread on my site to Jake Herron for making it on T04R.com FOR 10 PAGEs. A few of the faster Mustang guys jump in occasionally and its been hillarious. Now with this open challenge to drag race ANY SUPRA IN THE WORLD its gotten funnier. I felt like sharing this with the rest of the Supra crowd in hopes of him getting a shot at racing one of the faster Supras.. I guess he must be willing to travel.

Who wants to "educate" yet another mustang owner?:D

Tell him to bring his Mustang and his big mouth to Chicago. Plenty of slow Supras around here.

Marcus,
I am from the area that this pighead individual is from. He is just pissed cause Jake made a comment about showing the Mustang/F-body crowds a lesson. He does need to have his ass put in place and we all know that there is NUMEROUS SUPRAS TO SMOKE HIS NON STREET LEGAL MUSTANG or what ever rustang he is building.

Good day,

DP.

ill laugh if he brings out a Pro 5.0 car
My 94 Pony,

Nah, he doesn't have a pro 5.0 drag car, but he is trying to rebuild a 95' saleen S-351 that was a renegade car. However, it was slammed into the wall(at the end of the track, too) at National Trail Raceway 2 years ago. He is also on a limited budget to make it FAST.

Yeah, so will I.

Bragging about beating on street Supras with a professional drag mustang = :ghey:

maybe its just me, but he said nothing about STREET supras. Are you implying that EVERY supra in the world is a street car?
Hope he runs 7-second ETs. Vinny Ten will hand him his pony on a platter with his little 183" 6-popper.

Hey I have nothing personal against him infact I'm pretty cool with him. His stang, last time I saw it was no joke but that was 4 years ago. My friend who worked with him, told me its much meaner and faster now.

I don't mean to cause any bad blood, just friendly competition. He and a few of the local mustang owners on my board got a bit upset with Jake Herron's comment about "educating a few mustangs and camaros." In another thread Sharad posted on the site, another mustang guy wanted in so I guess its Sharad and a few of the local mustangs now.

Someone who goes as basupra got on and posted this - "Dig or roll, strip or street. Let me know when, where, and how much."
I'm waiting to see how things play out.

That's Tim, I'm sure he wouldn't back down, I remember him and West tearing up the streets of downtown Indy a few years back.
Let's meet in Richmond.

Please show me a thread on any forum where I have ever talked bad about anyone, or put down anyone elses car. In fact if you look at any of the threads on my races posted in the kill section, I actually compliment everyone I have raced. I like cars. I really like fast cars. I respect anything that anyone has the desire to build. Who cares what it is. The only place I said anything about mustangs and camaros was on my t04r.com page. (a web site devoted to supras) and I stated a fact that my bpu supra was a real sleeper in a small town like ours where no one knew about supras. (As if the same things arent said on mustang websites about supras.) In fact, I stated that I have actually owned several mustangs and trans ams. I don't even know who this guy is. As soon as this other forum is back up, I'll be sure to post there as well. Nothing annoys me more than being portrayed as a stuck up car enthusiast because I wrote a creative article on t04r.com. People need to grow up and worry about important things. Just enjoy what your into:)

As one of the website administrators at to4r.com, I want to echo Jake's comments. Every fast car community has its neanderthals, including the Supra community. We at to4r.com try real hard to show all that's good in our community and bagging on other cars, individuals and communities is NOT a part of our mission. As Jake has said, we like fast cars....period....and we respect anyone that invests the time, money and emotion into making their favorite vehicle something special.

This is a Supra board, but its clear to anyone who spends time here that there are a lot of guys who respect the accomplishments of the Mustang community, its members and others as well, such as the LS1. Just look at the various threads and replies regarding the '03 Cobra, in particular, and the ZO6. Anybody who knows Jake (and I've only met him twice at the last two Vegas events) knows he is not about this BS. We all have our favorites, but to each his own. Let's refrain from the flamefests that do nothing but create ill will between communities and individuals.

Ken.

This is the kind of attitude I was talking about over there... and YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME "m".

Good day,
DP.
Okay, THIS is the guy that is in my crosshairs now. This post is just dripping with attitude. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME Doug, or whoever you are. If you are who I think you are, your mommy and daddy bought you pretty much everything you have, and you're criticizing me.

And just why is it that I "need to have my XXX put in place"? Among DOZENS of false accusations you've hurled at me, I'll make mention of the fact that my 10.17 @ 131 '92 LX is fully street-legal and has been driven more on the street than at the track.
If I'm not mistaken, you're running TWELVES talking all this nonsense....

And why is it that so many of you supra guys have to call it a "rustang"? Can't we all just, get along?:2peace:

Good guess. It's actually only NMRA Super Street Outlaw.

Isn't Vinny Ten's car a tube frame pro car? I'll race any full bodied stock suspension car when I get this thing rolling. Mine is both full bodied and stock suspension. BTW, I've been browsing around the site quite a bit, and NONE of the "Top 60 IRS cars" here will keep up.

I noticed the challenge from Basupra, but it's not gonna happen like that. My old car is one final payment away from being sold and the new car will be in the chassis shop another month or so. When it is done, any of you can race me at Dwayne Gutridge's ODR race or the Orlando Street Nationals. The only other events I'll be attending are Ford only. But I can appreciate Basupra's enthusiasm. His car ETs slower than mine but traps higher. That would have been a good race.

Jake, as far as I'm concerned, you're in the clear with me. (after reading your post at SRD.) I just didn't like how you claimed "the challenges stopped after you educated some Mustangs" even though you're only 30 miles or so from me. (this whole thing was blown WAY out of proportion by a few individuals.)

Ok now I regret posting this thread. Just hoped for some racing to become of this.:(

Here's where it gets fun. As I said at SRD: you sir are a [expletive meaning donkey]

It's a '96 S351-R that was a Super Street Outlaw car. It bumped the wall at Nat'l Trails just past the tree which is why it only cost me $2500 to fix. Finally, I may not be rich, but I'm gonna build this car once and build it RIGHT! It is getting the best of the best, and when it rolls out, I am aiming to break the current Wild Street record of an 8.30 average after a 30 mile road tour.
