Anyone doing any shipping I "HIGHLY" advise "NOT" using DHL. I've shipped well over 50 parts with both UPS and FedEX in the last year with no problems. I shipped 2 doors using DHL. Both wrapped with 20' of bubble and boxed. They were both totally destroyed to the point they looked as if they'd fallen off a truck at 65+ mph. Not one salvagable part..... This was to 2 completely seperate locations.

15+ phone calls later and still no rembursement.

Thats horrible to hear this story, Darin :(

I've seen DHL driving too fast, sometime on off shoulder, short cut, hit the curb, and ran trhough red lights.

Thanks for the warning. FedEx is about 1 mile away from my house. They lost a diff once, and I get a check within 2 weeks in the full declared value I put down on the waybill.

Good luck in getting a reimbursement.

Damn, that sux... I use them all the time and only had a problem when that big snow-storm hit and shut down their Cincinnati hub... delayed the package 2 days.

I work for Verizon and we get a discount on shipping that's even better than DHL's employee discount. Sorry 'bout your troubles tho....

I drove an hour and a half to use fedex once at the request of the person I was shipping to.....make a long story short fedex destroyed the trunk lid (no longer useable) and then claimed it was because I didn't pack it well enough to ship it from houston to just outside miami. A week before that it came to me UPS from michigan in the exact same packing and was in perfect shape!
