should compression # be lower after the manafold has been removed ?

I CHECKED COMPRESSION BEFORE REMOVEL OF THE STOCK TWINS,AND CHECKED AFTERWARDS AND THE # ARE BOUT 25
PSI LOWER
SHOULD THIS BE ?
ANY HELP ON THIS WOULD BE HELPFUL

I'm new to supras but I don't see why it would. I mean the compression should be constant assuming the valves are closed.
If the car is warm the #s should be a little higher. The exhaust manifold shouldn't effect anything.

Ditto to above. Manifold should make zero difference. Temperature of the motor at test time will make a significant difference. If some oil (even a few drops) gets in a cylinder, that will make a HUGE difference.
