Haven't looked into the wiring diagram yet, didn't know if some one had a quick answer for this, in my other post I explained why I don't have one at the moment, but the car won't start, HAS fuel, HAS spark, removed timing belt cover and timing is perfect... as for the knock sensor I have a short bolt in its place and the connector is jumped by a short wire. thanks

my fault, connector is just hanging. BUT it will still not start. going back through everything right now.

True. Mine didn't when I disconnected my KS. It did do something to the timing however. Car didn't respond to boost well. Maybe when the code is detected, the ECU retards the timing throughout the rpm/boost range. A kind of timing safe mode.
