TRD leather knob is sweeeeet. Unfortunately when I picked mine up, they still had to get them from japan....and that meant 6 month wait for me. It was a bit tall at stock hight - i did the sogi mod and then welded the threads from the top portion to the bottom, it looks and feels fantastic now.
I have that greddy knob pictured above... feels really nice actually with the weight on the shifter, but it does not go as low as the shift boot comes up, so there is a gap where you can see the actual shifter...
I have that RAZO knob... it's pretty much just a black, metal ball, so I'm sure u can use your imagination. The one I got is the heaviest one they make I think. Man if I didn't have all that weight my cheap short shifter would feel like shit. I actually like the way it looks too...it's very simple, so it's not like it'll ever go out of style. And being black, it's far from flashy or ricey.
And yeah in the sun it does get kinda hot...but luckily, my sister had a baby not long before I got my knob, and she had outgrown some of her tiny socks....so i keep a pair in the car and just slip a sock on the knob haha. It's a PERFECT fit. Also good in the winter when it's freezing cold.
If I were to ever get another knob, I would ONLY get that Greddy/Trust knob
