yeah well i tried some bondo which look like a paste, no mix to do. Do you have any product in particular in mind?

Bondo makes a lot of products, which one would be the best?

There's your answer ----> "a paste, no mix to do" <----- dont use again.

You need to use professional grade materials and a product that has a hardener. Your stuff is literally soaking up all the primer/paint work. It's called shrinkage. Especially if you paint right after the bodywork (within a day or a few).

Go to a local distributor and get you some good stuff (most bondos are fine) and use filler primers etc.
It all depends on your access to spray guns and help etc.

good, someone with a good answer.

OK, i would really like if you could develop on this a little. I have tried going into auto parts store but they all tell me they don't have anything for plastic, it's always for metal.

Also, what is a filler primer? I asked if there was some sort of a primer i could use that would be really thick and sandable that would stop the paint from doing that but seems like i talked only to ignorant. I am really not a pro of body work, i prefer mechanical an electronic work. Think that regular stuff for metal would work on plastic?

Would using something like the stuff they use for fiberglass work? If you have any part number from bondo on top of your head, that would help

thanks a lot for any help you can give me.

oh and one last thing, there is almost none of the paste i was talking about on this part, i used mainly epoxy glue since it can be sanded. Do you think that this epoxy can cause me a problem? It seems like if it was my plastic portin, not the plexiglass, that "drinks" the paint, which would cause that effect.

I also learned not use plexiglass anymore, i suppose the difference between that material and the OEM plastic is always going to give me problems. The plexiglass is not flexible and it is thicker.

Just hope i can find something to correct my mistake without having to redo everything.

thanks for any help

Ok I have to ask this. In your first pictures your dash gauges (Speedo, tach, gas/engine temp.) are all white face gauges and then your picture at night they are black faced with blue lights and also the speedo has the supra logo in it. I've never seen those gauges before let alone ones that are white faced but black at night. What are they? Where did you get them? Did you cut cut that supra logo out yourself? Any info about how you did that would be great. I love white faced gauges but I hate when at night the lights shine through the white faces and if you didn't somehow trick me with those pictures, I think you have my solution. And on a side not what color is that dash, its a very classy color. thanks.

Thanks man thats awesome. Im wondering if he did the same thing fromt he same site. But either way that look like it will work great. Im guessing you cant put a logo on the tach since thats where the warning light comes on but if you could that would be nice. Also does anyone have an opinion on this topic....My car is black and Im thinking either doing a black/blue theme or black/red theme. My girlfriend likes black/blue but I think its been over done and starting to lean now to black/red. Im asking this here since this is all about interiors. What do you guys think, should I just go with the common black/blue I was going to go with or will black/red look better and more unique?

I have my gauges done with the "supra" script on the tach. They just do it below the warning light. Here is a couple of pics I just snapped to give you an idea:

Nice seats! I just got my seats from the leatherseats.com group buy. Here is a quick pic...haven't taken the time to get some good interior shots yet:

I did the tan to black conversion. I've very pleased with the outcome. Excellent quality seats I might add!
