Does anyone know if there are signs when the exhaust manifold is leaking?
any white marks or residue? (I'm just guessing here)

I don't know for sure, but I suspect I may have it as my turbo doesn't seems to spool as fast as others of the same size/model type.
also I think my under hood temps might be high, as my hood has faded a bit
but I have no proof of that (haven't been able to measure under hood temps)

single? you can start it up and feel for leaks really quick (REALLY quick) before it warms up. look around and make sure all the flanges look even and the gaskets look good, bolts tight, etc. there might be black carbon marks
