So I recently purchased my first supra, and was planning on changing my brake pads, I noticed there are some aftermarket looking lug nuts on the wheels, was wondering if that was stock or can I go to an automotive store to get the special socket to remove the one different lug on each wheel? My othere question if where i can support the car with jack stands when I jack up the car? In the front I've been using the lower control arm was wondering where in the rear should it b?

If they are tuner lugs I would go to your local Discount Tires for that socket cause they sell them and they might have others. Jack your car on the factory jack points and place your jack stands on the frame rail.

Sounds wheel locks. You need to get the correct socket to remove it. Also, pull up the manual and jack up the vehicle at the correct jack points so you don't damage anything.

Jack the rear on the diff. Stands may go on the LCA as well if you feel like it.

thanks for contributing shitstain.............and yes, those are wheel locks, you can also take the car to a tire place and they can usually get it off for you. good luck.
