last friday i took the car to the track on the new single setup (To4r .81 A/R) etc etc and made 3 passes...the car is a bone stock 120k mile motor, stall, and tranny. My 60' was kickin my ass but the MPH was awesome, I just ordered a NX wet kit and a MSD window switch so that should take care of the 60'...
Heres the slip:

on 15psi
60'........2.287
330.......6.002
1/8.......8.684
MPH......92.61
1000....10.964
1/4.......12.872
MPH.....119.06

with a 50 shot just outta the hole from 2200rpm-4200rpm im expecting a 1.6-1.7 60' and with that it should drop it down to a mid 11, some where around 11.4-16, and im also gonna do another run spraying it all the way down the track from 2200rpm-6600rpm and if the tranny holds together (which i doubt) it should go a low 11 high 10...so we'll see what happens next wednesday at the track... the A/F's throughout these runs were consistent at 12.0-12.1 on race gas...

I am sure others will chime in, but I don't know if I would try to kill my trans if I were you. Some places will not rebuild a trans unless it actually worked before you sent it off.

I'd just get a built auto and a 3800 rpms stall and call it a day. Some spray out of the hole and once you get used to it you'll be in the 10s easy.

Jim, told you it wouldn't be that easy making it into the 11's. Good attempt either way. I'm going to Cecil in a couple of weeks on saturday. Let me know if you wanna come up there and make some more passes.

i dont plan on having mine rebuilt, im putting a TH400 in the car soon so im not worried about it at all, just wanna test the limits :-D,

alex...remember i went 12.0s on stock twins, so as soon as this nitrous goes on...i promise u mid 11's :-D, also what are the dates that ur going to the track...my cruise is from jun 23-july 2nd...u should really go up this coming up wednesday with me n JimmyP

How on earth did you get a 2.2 60' with a stock stall and a T04R?? I can't get under 2.4 with an SP58GT! Nice run @ 15psi.

cuz im good like that...i cut consistent 1.8's with stock twins....but in all honesty, pull up the e-brake and foot brake as much as u can, stall it to around 2200rpm, and just drop those bitches n floor it, seems to work for me :) i wont have to use the handbrake anymore with the nitrous but if u wanna stall as much as possible without the rear tires moving, give it a whirl! hope this helps

Congrats on the numbers. Why the nitrous though? Just put a stall in
and you will be low 11's at that boost without being so hard on the
tranny. Those numbers are almost exactly what I ran on my Black T78
car. It was stock tranny/stall at 15 lbs also. A lag monster at the track
but great fun on the street from a roll! I have to admit that I miss the
stock stall on pulls that go over 140mph. I bet your car is very grin
inducing from 60-150mph. :bigthumb:
Keep us posted on your times after the nitrous.

well i would put a stall in it but im planning on a TH400 soon, so instead of spending 800.00 bucks now just to get rid of it in a few months, why not just buy the nitrous and still be able to use it when the 400 goes in. and yes the car pulls VERY well at the speeds :), and thanks for the congrats.
