Thanks to Steve Vache in St.Louis, they site is very help! Compares what turbos "should" do, to what they "have" done on peoples cars. Includes dyno sheets etc...

Great job steve!

I am sure if he is given the dyno charts and turbo specs he will.
To all: Links to dynos and corresponding setups are greatly appreciated.

James, thanks. :)

twinturboman, I haven't added SP turbos because I didn't want to be giving away their trade secrets.

Steve
trade secrets?! I'm sure SP wouldn't mind because, as a potential customer, I need to see how they "stack up".
Wow, that spreadsheet is awesome. It just needs some bigger turbos to play with! Is the compression ratio 9.2 on the mkiv?
8.5 on the TT

I hope to dyno my car when i get back in the states. I will post the results so you can include it in your chart. I should be able to get 550 RWHP. But we'll have to see :).
Great! The only SP turbo I have on the page is Peter W.'s untuned SP57 runs.

Steve
I put more SP turbo info on the page.

Steve,

The page isnt functing now for some reason. I should have some numbers for you in early Jan. That's if I can get all my cooling issues taken care of beforehand :).
Hey Steve, Brad Mayo made 535 rwhp with the sp57 and i think Cedric made ~560 rwhp with his sp60 both on stock fuel.
G
Larry,

What kind of A/F numbers did Cedric post at 560 RWHP?

Did he have any fuel modifications at all? What boost levels? Thanks!

What A/R do Brad and Cedric have?
What boost level were the runs made at?
Which header?
FMIC, VPC?
Dyno sheets?

Thanks,
Steve
Brad has our SP kit, our header hks gt wastegate

Cedric has the RPS header.

All 57s are .58 housings

I think Ced has a .7 housing.

Hopefully Ced and Brad will post full details of their dyno runs.

The page should be working now.

Sounds good. :)

I made 557 rwhp on stock fuel at 1.56 kg/cm, not bar. I had the .70 a/r. That was without the dampener bypass. On that run my EGTs never went over 750. This was on the dyno though. I had a wideband O2 and took about 2 hrs to tune and slowly turned the boost up. I ran 1.1 to 1.2 kg/cm on pump gas which was 506 to 515 rwhp repectively. I know everyone is loving the SP57 right now, I still think the SP60 is better. :p
G
Cedric,

You said you had a Wideband hooked up to your car while you tuned. What ratios did you tune for?

You have no fuel modifications?

Fuel Pressure?

515 on pump gas with what A/F and EGT?

Do you have any dyno sheets scanned?

I have an SP60 that I will be tuning in about a month or so. I'd like to get some input since your about the only SP60 owner that know of.

Thanks!

I did my pump gas runs on another dyno after I had tuned for full boost. I wanted to see what kind of power I was running on an every day basis. There was no O2 sensor at that dyno. My egt's were at about 730 or so. Not sure of my fuel pressure, I didnt have a regulator then. Here is a sheet for 1.1 kg/cm

Here is one for 1.3 kg/cm (it was higher than I thought)
