just wonderin for all us 1j guys with singles, what turbo u using?

in my 7m setup i was usin a 35r. on this 1j i wanna use a t04z or precision t04

Both ^^^ are excellent turbo's for the 1JZ because they are efficient and spool easily. The GT35R is also great and supports about 500-550whp, too, I believe, with a very fast spool.

yeah thats the range i wana be around. but has anyone seen that twin gt2871R setup, man that looks good. lol but single is for me

any specs on this turbo? compressor map? anything? sounds pretty good

I went with a GT4088, which I'm putting on this weekend, but after I bought it, I wished I went T04Z. I want to see that baby on a 1JZ! Comparing the compressor maps between the 4088 and T04Z, they flow the same, and the surge characteristics are the same, but the T04Z is much more efficient all around!

I use gt35 R from precision turbo. 0.82 ar hot , 0.7 ar cold.
start boost my stock 1jz at 2300 rpms.

That is the turbo I would put on a 1jz if I ever have one again. T61 Dbb P trim .58ar or .68ar turbine. The spool is unreal and so linear.
