tried to finish my na-t project today and ran into a problem...when ever the fuel pump is connected the car wont run but as soon as we disconnect the fuel pump the car starts up without a problem and will run until it runs out of gas...but as soon as we hook it back up it turns right off again...my car is giving the engine codes 78 and 31. any help would be greatly appreciated...did i forget to connect somethin?????

my set-up:
SP mani
SP downpipe
SP61gt turbo
550cc inj
vpc/afc combo
walboro 255

code 31 is AFM circuit, so I'd guess you got something messed up with the VPC/AFC.

code 78 is the fuel pump control circuit.

Which wiring diagram did you use for the VPC/AFC? You are OBD1 correct?

I'd go through the troubleshooting section to diagnose code 78.

i used your diagram and the instructions for my afcII...to do the wiring, and yes im obd1. ill try and do some troubleshooting maybe later on this week...thanks
