The Changer will be wired through the stereo. The stereo has a wire that has a constant 12V to maintain station memory and other settings on the deck. This is why you can eject the changer magazine w/ the car off. But no, a deck or cd changer should not have that effect on your battery. Does not hold enough current to do so.
